There are better options in central London
Comfy bed. Relatively modern decor in a central location, convenient for Brick Lane and Shoreditch.
The staff at reception were rude, e.g. chatting casually amongst themselves whilst a queue of people were waiting to be checked in. They eventually checked us in and told us our room wasn't ready because we were early – not great but fine. And then they made us go through a full check in a second time later that afternoon, which was also weird and a waste of our time. My card was declined by the machine initially and the girl at reception sneered which was super rude, especially considering it was a machine error and nothing to do with my ability to pay! Breakfast and coffee was absolutely awful.
